At a Lead Engineer level we expect you to be adept at core software engineering skills (data structures, algorithms, system design) and imbibe best practices (agile, TDD/BDD, OOPS, Reactive/Functional programming, Containerization, CI/CD). We look at you as someone who is an avid learner and tech enthusiast. You will be abreast of tech trends in your area of work (Java, microservices, cloud native, Redis, message queue) and the frameworks you use (Spring, ORM). We expect you to have worked in complex live projects and be capable of applying learnings from the same.
